We initially stayed in the Silver Sands resort for a week or so, which was nice... but hotel prices. After that we moved from Sairee beach to Mae Haad, the main town/ferry terminal area. We stayed at Utopia Suites and it was around $1000 for the month. Unfortunately their internet crapped out days after we moved there and wasn't fixed for the remainder of our stay. We did have an internet cafe across the road so we hijacked their WiFi... but it was slow and unreliable. Not ideal, but we made it work.It was actually quite a challenge to find decent working WiFi on Koh Tao in a long term place. And near impossible to find a place that also had a full kitchen. You might want to check out www.kohtaostudios.com. They're up the big hill from Sairee beach and were booked up when we were there, but looked like the best local option for longterm with a kitchen & WiFi.Another option may be to get a cheap place right by the ferry terminal in Mae Haad. There's 2 or 3 restaurants that have free Wifi right in that area that you may be able to latch onto. Anyway, I hope that helps. Have a great trip!

Hi Ryan, I just updated our links & reviews page for the Thailand portion of our trip, so you can get the websites there if you like.
